Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for MercyOne Clive Rehabilitation Hospital in Clive, Iowa. This full-time night shift role (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) includes a $20,000 sign-on bonus with a 30-month commitment and direct patient care under RN supervision.

You will assess, plan, and deliver nursing care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support rehab patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, and orthopedics. Growth opportunities and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
• Current state LPN license.
• Minimum six months of Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• CPR/BCLS certification.
• IV Certification highly preferred or must be obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Develop nursing care plans and communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and team.

How You'll Contribute

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, delivering treatments, assisting in assessments, and supporting interdisciplinary care planning in accordance with the patient's needs. Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. Develops nursing care plans in coordination with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary. Communicates changes in the patient's clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.

What We're Looking For
