Job summary

Allure of Sterling in Sterling, Illinois is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for 12-hour shifts on both full-time and part-time tracks. You will join a supportive interdisciplinary team to provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in a skilled nursing environment.

Competitive pay with incentives includes night differential, sign-on bonuses, and daily pay options. New graduates and experienced nurses are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Current, active Illinois RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care according to resident care plans and physician orders.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns.
• Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Supervise and support CNAs during assigned shifts.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Follow physician orders, care plans, and facility policies.
• Perform skilled nursing procedures within your scope of practice, including wound care and catheter care.
• Complete incident and accident reports when required.
• Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team communication.
• Follow infection prevention and control standards.
• Maintain resident dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and healthcare team.
• Promote a positive, respectful environment.
• Serve as an advocate for residents and their needs.

What You'll Do

As an RN or LPN at Allure of Sterling, you will provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care while working as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

Your responsibilities will include:

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Current, active Illinois RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.

Preferred:

• Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience.
