Job summary

Crossville Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for PRN opportunities in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting in Crossville, Alabama. You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support residents’ health and well-being.

The role offers day or night shifts on a PRN basis with pay ranging from $27.60 to $31.75 per hour, plus shift differentials for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN license.
• Strong clinical skills including medication administration and wound care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor, assess, and document residents' health status, including vital signs.
• Report changes in condition to the supervising RN or physician.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to support recovery goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies and state/federal regulations.
• Provide education and emotional support to residents and families.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment.
