Lifepoint Health in Winchester is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Primary Care Clinic. Working under the supervision of an RN, you will deliver direct patient care, assist with plan of care, and document care activities to support safe, high‑quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Tennessee or compact state LPN license and graduate of a Practical Nursing program.
• Certifications: BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire.
• Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision in stressful environments.
• Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision, take appropriate action.
• Licensed as LPN in the State of Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a registered nurse, provide direct patient care per scope and standards of practice.
• Perform plan of care interventions including specimen collection, wound care, medication administration, and documentation of care.
• Assist RN in developing plan of care.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living: hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient status and reaction to interventions with RN, provider, patient, and families.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.
• Schedule appointments and procedures as ordered by provider.
• Obtain insurance re‑authorizations for testing and scheduled procedures.
