Presbyterian SeniorCare Network is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Southminster Place Premium Evening Program in Washington, PA. This full-time, non-exempt position offers a dedicated team environment and a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000.

The LPN will coordinate nursing care for a group of residents and mentor CNAs under RN supervision. Applicants must hold an LPN license in PA, with preferred experience in skilled nursing and dementia care.

Qualifications

• Holds an LPN license in good standing from the State of PA.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing and Dementia Care is preferred.
• Self-directed with excellent time management skills.
• Desire to contribute to resident-focused culture and interact with residents, families, and team members.

Washington, PA – Full-time; Hourly, non-exempt; Evening shift

Premium Program Rate: $31.00/hour with up to $5,000 sign on bonus.

A variety of team members assist our residents with medication monitoring, personal hygiene and grooming, dining services, housekeeping, and laundry. This fosters our residents’ independence, protects dignity, and respects personal choices.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) coordinates, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care for a designated group of residents. The role provides leadership and direction to CNAs and other caregivers to deliver and maintain quality care within the established policies, procedures, and guidelines of the PA State Nurse Practice Act. LPNs may manage the overall care of a designated group of residents with oversight by an RN Supervisor as needed. Experienced team members may be designated as the Team Leader of a specific nursing unit.

Requirements For TheLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Holds an LPN license in good standing from the State of PA.


• Experience in Skilled Nursing and Dementia Care is preferred.


• Ability to work well with people and show enthusiasm and motivation.


• Self-directed and able to set priorities; excellent time management skills.
