Sisters of Mercy in Omaha, NE seeks a compassionate LPN for part-time evening shifts to provide direct nursing care to Sisters and to supervise caregivers on shift at 7262 Mercy Road, Omaha, NE 68124.

You will perform assessments, monitor vitals, administer medications, and ensure safety and infection-control standards, while communicating clearly with the DON/RCA and the care team. Experience in geriatric care is preferred and teamwork is essential.

Competenze

• Active LPN license.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Experience in geriatric care or memory care preferred.

Position Summary

The Mercy community is seeking a compassionate and dependable LPN to join our team. This role provides direct care to the Sisters and oversees caregivers during assigned shifts to ensure high-quality, mission-aligned service.

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct nursing care per care plan and physician orders
• Supervise and support caregivers during assigned shifts
• Complete assessments, vitals, documentation, and medication administration

What We’re Looking For

• Active LPN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 75 lbs and meet general physical demands
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Current LPN license in good standing; CPR/BLS certified; minimum one year of geriatric nursing experience. experience preferred; chronic diseasemanagement, and dementia care; strongassessment, communication, and documentationskills; ability to work independently andcollaborate effectively within an interdisciplinaryteam; experience in assisted living, long-termcare, skilled nursing, or memory care preferred.Ability to adapt quickly to new environments, strong organizational and time management skills, flexibility with schedule.
