Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Orthopedic Neurology and Spine department for night shifts, 7:00pm–7:30am with rotating weekends. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

You will provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision, ensure safety and comfort, and support a positive patient experience in the medical-surgical unit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse.
• IV certification and BW certification within 90 days of hire.
• Current BLS certificate on hire.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision.
• Maintain safety and patient comfort across shifts.
• Contribute to patient experience in the medical-surgical unit.

Responsibilities

The LVN/LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LVN/LPN works to maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care and improve the overall patient experience in the medical surgical setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire date.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Work experience in health care preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $31.00 to $40.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
