JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Clinical Nurse I - V, Department Director, Patient Care Manager, Shift Administrator and Vice President of Patient Care, the Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible and accountable for the quality care of patients assigned by utilizing the nursing process as defined in the Missouri Nurse Practice Act. The LPN will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient. Demonstrates understanding of the unique physical and psychological needs of the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information necessary to provide quality care.JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS
Up to a $10,000 sign on bonus*
Type: Full Time, 72 hours per 2 week pay period, with benefits, Weekend Option
Typical hours for this position: 12-hour shifts, 7am - 7pm
Education:
- Graduate of an approved practical or vocational nursing program- required
Certification & Licensures:
- Licensed to practice in the State of Missouri or eligible for licensure while having a Missouri work permit- required
- BLS Certification- required
- IV Certified- required
Experience:
- Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred, but not required.
