Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Clinical Nurse I - V, Department Director, Patient Care Manager, Shift Administrator, and Vice President of Patient Care, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing quality care to assigned patients, utilizing the nursing process as outlined in the Missouri Nurse Practice Act. The LPN demonstrates the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver age-appropriate care, understanding the physical and psychological needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The role includes assessing patient data and interpreting information to ensure quality care.

Job Details and Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an approved practical or vocational nursing program (required)
• Certification & Licensure: Licensed to practice in Missouri or eligible for licensure with a Missouri work permit (required); BLS Certification (required); IV Certification (required)
• Experience: Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred but not required
