Job summary

Morning Pointe Senior Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support memory care residents in our Kentucky Russell location. You will provide compassionate nursing care, monitor resident health, and follow individualized care plans with an emphasis on safety and dignity.

Applicants must hold an active LPN license, CPR certification, and be able to lift 50 lbs. This role requires reliability, strong communication, and a caring, respectful attitude toward seniors.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in applicable state and CPR certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Reliable transportation and dependable work ethic are essential.
• Strong reading, writing, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build close relationships with residents.
• Provide care per each resident’s plan and daily procedures.
• Assist with medication management as directed.
• Maintain safety priorities and document health observations.
• Collaborate with RA and CNA staff as part of a team.

LPNs are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, LPNs participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a LPN can include:

1. Build and maintain close relationships with residents


2. Take initiative and give guidance to RA and CNA staff


3. Provide stellar resident care as directed by each resident’s specific care plan


4. Make resident safety needs a daily priority


5. Continually assess, record, and document resident health and monitor for concerns


6. Assist with and monitor resident medication needs

Requirements:

1. Current LPN license in applicable state as well as CPR certification
