Job summary

UP Health System - Marquette, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Clinic LPN to join a busy pediatric clinic. This full-time position is 5 x 8-hour Day Shifts, M-F, 7:30a-4:00p or 8:00a-4:30p.

A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available for qualified applicants, with a mission to provide compassionate, high-quality care in Marquette, Michigan. You’ll support intake, documentation, and patient advocacy while assisting with routine clinic activities under physician supervision.

Qualifications

• Michigan LPN license required.
• Graduate of an LPN or LVN program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS-HCP) certification.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document patient intake data and maintain records.
• Provide patient care with attention to emotional, physical, social and cultural factors.
• Assist with routine clinic activities and patient assessments under physician supervision.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic clinic environment.
• Advocate for patients' physical and emotional well-being.

How You'll Contribute

A Clinic LPN who excels in this role:

• Collects and documents patient intake data. Maintains accurate and complete patient records.
• Provides patient support that reflects considerations for emotional, physical, social, cultural, religious and economic influences.
• Assists with routine clinic support activities.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
• Maintains appropriate, safe and therapeutic environment per clinic policy.
• Assists with performing patient assessments and treatments under the supervision of a physician.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a state of Michigan LPN license and have graduated from an LPN or LVN Program.
