Schedule: 3x12s, Night Shift (7p-7a). Holidays and Weekends Required.

Join our team in a 39‑bed Medical Surgical unit where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team of Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). With a 1:6 nurse to patient ratio, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high‑quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist Providers with preparation and information documentation for the patient's visit including obtaining vitals, medical history and other pertinent information from the patient.
• Prepare exam rooms for patients.
• Assist Providers with procedures as directed by the Provider.
• Assist with collection of lab samples.
• Give injections, administer meds, and provide wound care as ordered by Provider.
• Document all care and education in medical record.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina or compact state Licensed Practical Nurse license.
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• AHA ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
