Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our inpatient medical‑surgical unit in Missouri. The LVN/LPN will provide nursing care under the direction of an RN, collect data, implement orders, and perform therapeutic procedures for patients across populations.

Current MO licensure or compact licensure is required, along with a BLS certification that is AHA approved within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as LPN/LVN in MO or compact state.
• BLS certification required and must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care as directed by an RN on the unit.
• Gather and report data, carry out orders, and perform therapeutic procedures.
• Deliver age-appropriate care per PAM Health policies and guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) is responsible for providing appropriate nursing care, as directed by an RN on the nursing unit. Functions include gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

Education and Training: Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification required. BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.

• Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required
