Job summary

PAM Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for our Florida facility. The LVN/LPN provides nursing care under the supervision of an RN, gathering data, reporting findings, and executing orders with age-appropriate patient care.

Requirements include active LPN/LVN licensure in Florida (or compact licensure), BLS certification, and IV certification if required by state rules. Inpatient med-surgical experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Holds current LPN/LVN licensure in the state or compact licensure if applicable.
• BLS certification is required and AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment if state regulations require it.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care as directed by an RN, with data gathering and reporting.
• Carry out orders and perform therapeutic procedures per unit policies.
• Adhere to PAM Health guidelines and participate in related duties as requested.

Responsibilities

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) is responsible for providing appropriate nursing care, as directed by an RN on the nursing unit. Functions include gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

Education and Training: Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification required. BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.

• Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required
