Job summary

Canyon Vista Post Acute is seeking an experienced LPN/LVN supervisor to oversee daily nursing operations and supervise nursing assistants on a full-time basis. You will ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, and maintain high quality resident care.

The role emphasizes leadership, policy compliance, and collaboration with other departments to support residents and staff in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, active LPN/LVN license in this state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to read technical procedures and policy manuals.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing functions and supervise nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures by all nursing staff.
• Review and update Nursing Service Policies and manuals as needed.
• Lead staff meetings to plan shifts, services, and activities.
• Maintain nursing records, charts, and reports accurately and timely.
• Provide leadership to nursing personnel and ensure high-quality resident care.
