ProCare Therapy is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) for a part-time, 1:1 role near Southbridge, MA. You’ll supervise transportation and provide essential medical support for a medically complex student during the school day and commute, working with classroom staff and families to ensure safety.

The ideal candidate has an MA LPN license and experience in school nursing or pediatric care, with strong communication skills and reliability.

Job description

Make a meaningful impact by providing essential support to a medically complex student as a 1:1 Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This part-time contract opportunity is tailored for a healthcare professional with strong clinical skills and a passion for supporting students in a school environment. The role involves transportation supervision for a student attending an out-of-district program. Youll work closely with educational staff and families to ensure the students safety and well-being throughout their school day and commute.

Schedule Details:

• Contract dates: 8/24/2026 6/14/2027
• Work hours: 5 days a week, 8:00 AM 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM 5:00 PM
• Location: Near Southbridge, MA

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Prior experience in school nursing, pediatric care, or similar settings
• Training or comfort working with medically complex students
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents, and transportation providers
• Dependable, compassionate, and quick to respond in a changing environment
