Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) for a part-time, 1:1 role near Southbridge, MA. You’ll supervise transportation and provide essential medical support for a medically complex student during the school day and commute, working with classroom staff and families to ensure safety.

The ideal candidate has an MA LPN license and experience in school nursing or pediatric care, with strong communication skills and reliability.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts LPN license required.
• Experience in school nursing, pediatric care, or similar settings.
• Comfort working with medically complex students.
• Strong communication with staff, parents and transportation providers.
• Dependable, compassionate and quick to respond in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 supervision and medical support during transportation to and from the student’s educational program.
• Monitor and address healthcare needs, intervening as necessary.
• Maintain clear documentation of daily care.
• Collaborate with teaching personnel, healthcare providers, and the student’s family.
• Uphold health and safety standards and individualized care protocols.
