Southridge Behavioral Hospital, a joint venture with Trinity Health System and Universal Health Services, is seeking an LPN for the full-time night shift in Byron Township, MI. The role includes administering medications, following care plans, and supporting admissions and discharges with the nursing team.

Qualifications

Description

Licensed Practical Nurses LPN carry out the daily routines of patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse and House Supervisor:

• Provides direct patient care according to nursing care plans and the patient’s treatment plan.
• Participates with other personnel in maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu.
• Assists with behavior management, crisis control, seclusion and restraint, under the direction of the registered nurse.
• Partners with RN with patient admissions and discharges.
• Administers medication and treatments to patients. Assists with medication education, informed consent and monitoring the effectiveness and efficacy of medications. Documents the administration of medications and treatments according to policies and procedures.

Hours and Location

Full Time Night Shift. 3 12-hour shifts, 7pm-7:30am. Every other weekend rotation.

Qualifications
