Topaz Fiscal Services is seeking a nursing supervisor to oversee care for residents, coordinating with physicians and supervising LPNs, LVNs, and CNAs. The role focuses on implementing orders, leading care planning, and ensuring safe, efficient nursing operations.

The candidate will utilize the nursing process to assess and document resident needs, supervise staff, and coordinate interdisciplinary care to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising LPNs/LVNs/CNAs and supporting nursing staff.
• Ability to utilize the nursing process to assess and plan resident care.

Responsabilités

• Utilize the nursing process to assess resident care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes related to nursing care.
• Initiate and lead team conferences to develop individualized nursing care plans; assess and document residents' condition and needs.
• Implement physicians' orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments and tests, and document as required by policy and regulations.
• Ensure supplies are used economically and equipment is maintained safely.
• Coordinate nursing care for residents scheduled for therapy and procedures by other departments.
• Record observations and reactions regarding residents, and report as needed.
• Assist or institute emergency measures for sudden adverse developments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

POSITION PURPOSE: Work with physicians, implementing orders for medications, treatments and special test. Supervise LPN's, LVN's and CNA's, providing them support in order that they may provide total nursing care for residents.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess resident care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes related to nursing care.


• Initiate and lead team conferences to develop individualized nursing care plans; assess and document residents condition and nursing needs; assign team members who have the capabilities and qualifications to meet residents needs


• Implement physicians orders administer medications, starts IV's perform treatments, procedures and special tests and document treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations


• Ensure supplies are used economically and equipment is clean and maintained in a safer manner


• Coordinate nursing care of residents scheduled for therapy and procedures by other departments


• Report and Record observations and reactions regarding residents


• Assist or institute emergency measures for sudden adverse developments


• Perform additional duties as assigned
