Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management seeks an LPN to provide nursing care within scope of practice, ensuring patient needs are met per standards, physician orders, and policies. This full-time role operates 7a-7p and involves rounds with physicians as needed.

Requirements include an active LVN/LPN license in the practicing state and current BLS/CPR certification; management experience is a plus but not required. Commitment to quality care is essential.

Qualifications

• Current LVN/LPN license in practicing state.
• BLS/CPR certification required or willingness to acquire.
• Experience in nursing management preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follows established procedure for charting and incident reporting.
• Follows company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
• Documents any change in patient's conditions including nutrition, infections, skin conditions or weight loss.
• Uses the Quality Life Manual for patient identification, placement and monitoring.
• Documents and notifies departments of room changes, LOA, new admits or discharges.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.

• Documents any change in patient's conditions including but not limited to nutritional problems, infections, skin conditions, weight loss or any other noticeable changes.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
• Document and notify applicable departments of any patient's room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
