Job summary

Meridian HealthCare is seeking an LPN for the day shift (5am–1pm, Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays) to support our clinical teams in providing integrated, whole-person care. You will perform nursing assessments, administer medications, and educate patients while collaborating with physicians and staff.

Current Ohio LPN license and BLS certification are required or obtainable. This full-time role includes a strong benefits package and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

  • Ohio LPN license required (current).
  • BLS certification required or willingness to obtain.
  • Knowledge of chemical dependency preferred.
  • Shift: day shift 5am–1pm, Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays.

Our Day Shift LPNs work 5am - 1pm Monday - Friday with rotating Saturdays.

Responsibilities


  • Performs patient nursing assessments including medical history collections, checking vital signs, and medical testing including TB tests, pregnancy tests, EKG tests, and influenza and covid tests.

  • Administers medication to patients as ordered by the Physician including methadone and suboxone doses in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations.

  • Provides patient education and health teachings relative to patient care, as directed by the Physician.

  • Acts as a team player and provides ongoing support and assistance in all medical office functions.

  • Demonstrates excellent customer service and high-level quality care that supports whole-person treatment through integrative health services.


Requirements


  • Current Ohio LPN Nursing License

  • Basic Life Support certification or willingness to obtain

  • Knowledge of Chemical Dependency preferred
