Job summary

Meridian Health Services is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Mooresville office in Mooresville, Indiana. The role is full-time and Monday–Friday, focusing on providing comprehensive nursing care within our integrated healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate is a non-probationary LPN licensed in Indiana with at least one year of nursing experience, preferably in substance use or psychiatric care. Drug screen and background checks are part of our standard process.

Qualifications

• Non-probationary Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Indiana required.
• One (1) year experience in Nursing required.
• Experience in substance use/psychiatric nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to medication-related inquiries and consults with medical staff as appropriate.
• Phone in prescription orders to pharmacies as directed by medical staff.
• Review lab and test results and report concerns to medical staff.
• Obtain medical histories and perform physical assessments as directed.
• Administer injectable medications as ordered by medical staff.
• Complete documentation for client and third-party billing.

Meridian Health Services is currently seeking a full time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide services in our Mooresville office located in Mooresville Indiana. This position will work Monday-Friday.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Responds to requests from residents' concerning the effectiveness of medications, side-effects, special precautions or problems with medication and consults with medical staff as appropriate to provide directions on changes/modifications to the prescribed medication regimens.
• Phone in prescription orders to pharmacies as directed by medical staff.
• Review lab and test results, reporting concerns and abnormal results to medical staff.
• Obtain medical histories and do physical assessments as directed by medical staff. Including B/P, WS, Wt., and AIMS testing. Provide health screening as needed to direct residents' to needed medical care.
• Administer injectable medications as ordered by medical staff.
• Complete other documentation to ensure accurate and timely information for client and third-party billing.

We are seeking candidates with the following qualities:

• Non-probationary Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Indiana required
• One (1) year experience in Nursing required
• Experience in substance use/psychiatric nursing experience preferred
