Job summary

Maine Veterans’ Homes is seeking a compassionate and experienced LPN Charge to join our Residential Care team. This is a working leadership role providing clinical guidance to CRMAs and PSSs while delivering safe, person-centered care for our Veterans.

The LPN Charge leads by example on the floor, supports the team across shifts, and maintains connection with residents. Includes some evenings and weekends with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered LPN license to practice in Maine.
• Ability to communicate with residents in English.
• Basic computer skills.

Maine Veterans’ Homes is seeking a compassionate and experienced LPN Charge to join our Residential Care team. This is a working leadership position for an LPN who enjoys providing clinical guidance, supporting a team, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our Veterans.

As the LPN Charge, you will provide leadership and clinical oversight throughout your shift, serving as a resource to our Certified Residential Medication Aides (CRMAs) and Personal Support Specialists (PSSs). You will help ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, person-centered care while supporting your team in meeting the changing needs of those we serve.

As a working leader, you will remain actively involved in resident care. This hands-on approach allows you to lead by example, stay connected to residents, and provide valuable support to your team.
