Job summary

Morning Pointe Senior Living in Powell, TN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support residents in Assisted Living, Personal Care and Alzheimer’s services. You will work on 1st or 2nd shift, provide compassionate care, follow each resident’s care plan and collaborate with a caring team.

Required: active LPN license in the state, CPR certification, ability to lift 50 lbs, stand long hours, high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in applicable state and CPR certification.
• 18+ years of age and reliable transportation.
• Reading, writing and basic math and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain close relationships with residents.
• Take initiative and provide guidance to RA and CNA staff.
• Provide stellar resident care as directed by each resident's care plan.
• Make resident safety a daily priority.
• Continually assess, record, and monitor resident health and concerns.
• Assist with and monitor resident medication needs.

LPNs are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents.
