Job summary

Morning Pointe Senior Living seeks a Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for 2nd shift with rotating weekends in our Assisted Living community. You will provide resident care under the supervision of the RN, administer meds per care plans, and support daily activities that promote comfort, safety and independence.

Ideal candidates hold a current LPN license in the state, CPR certification, and a compassionate, team‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in applicable state and CPR certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care under RN supervision per individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions as prescribed.
• Assist residents with daily activities to maintain independence and comfort.
• Document health observations and report changes promptly.
• Participate in staff trainings and care-plan reviews.

We Are Looking For

LPNs Are Expected To Accomplish Tasks Outside Of Their Normal Assignments Whenever Necessary To Maintain a Quality Care Environment For Our Residents. As Part Of a Team-oriented Workplace, LPNs Participate In Training Opportunities And Offer Help To Other Areas And Staff In Need. The Typical Work Of a LPN Can Include

• Build and maintain close relationships with residents
• Take initiative and give guidance to RA and CNA staff
• Provide stellar resident care as directed by each resident’s specific care plan
• Make resident safety needs a daily priority
• Continually assess, record, and document resident health and monitor for concerns
• Assist with and monitor resident medication needs

Requirements
