Morning Pointe Senior Living in Franklin, IN seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support Assisted Living residents in a PRN capacity. The role focuses on daily resident care, medication administration, and coordinated care plans to promote comfort and safety for aging adults.

The ideal candidate holds an Indiana LPN license with CPR certification, can lift up to 50 lbs, and withstand standing for extended periods. Flexible shifts and a compassionate, dependable work ethic are valued.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Indiana and CPR certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Build close relationships with residents.
• Provide resident care as directed by each resident’s care plan.
• Continually assess, record, and document resident health and monitor for concerns.
• Assist with and monitor resident medication needs.
• Participate in training opportunities and support other areas as needed.

LPNs are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, LPNs participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a LPN can include:

1. Build and maintain close relationships with residents
2. Take initiative and give guidance to RA and CNA staff
3. Provide stellar resident care as directed by each resident’s specific care plan
4. Make resident safety needs a daily priority
5. Continually assess, record, and document resident health and monitor for concerns
6. Assist with and monitor resident medication needs

Requirements:

1. Current LPN license in applicable state as well as CPR certification
