Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Big Muddy River Correctional Center in Ina, Illinois. The LPN will deliver holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under RN and medical staff supervision.

Base pay starts at $36.23+ per hour with evening/$4 and night/$3 differentials plus a $1/hour weekend differential; schedule is 7 a.m.–3 p.m. with rotating weekends and days off when weekends are worked.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active LPN license in Illinois or ability to obtain one.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance including background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within scope of practice.
• Work under supervision of RN and medical/psychiatric staff.
• Respond to physical and behavioral health needs of patients.
• Schedule: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.; rotating weekends.

We offer a $4/hour evening differential and a $3/hour night differential, with an additional $1/hour on weekends.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Big Muddy River Correctional Center in Ina, Illinois.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Schedule: Full-time Day Shift, 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.

The schedule includes rotating weekends. When Saturday and Sunday are worked, the following Monday is scheduled off. When Saturday and Sunday are off, the following Thursday is scheduled off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Clear/Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Illinois or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
