Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Big Muddy River Correctional Center in Ina, Illinois. You will provide holistic nursing care under RN and medical staff supervision, addressing a range of physical and behavioral health needs on PRN shifts including some evenings and nights.

The role requires an active Illinois LPN license (or ability to obtain one), CPR certification, and the ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Clear/Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Illinois or ability to obtain one required.
• Must be appropriately and actively CPR certified.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs under the direction of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff.
