Centurion Health is seeking a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Danville Correctional Center in Danville, IL. The LPN provides holistic nursing care under the direction of RNs and medical staff to incarcerated patients.

Pay is $35/hr starting, with evening shift differential and a $5k sign-on bonus. Shift options include evenings; benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k), paid time off, holidays, Flexible Spending Account, and continuing education benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• LPN license or ability to obtain one required.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance, including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice under supervision of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff.
• Support incarcerated patients-respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Overview

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Danville Correctional Center in Danville, Illinois. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Pay and Shift

Pay Rate: $35/hr starting + evening shift diff + $5k sign on bonus

Shift: Evenings (3pm-11pm and 7pm-7am)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
