Job summary

Heartline Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time, 3rd shift in Erie, PA to care for veterans and spouses in a residential setting. You will work onsite with RNs and the nursing team, providing safe, compassionate care and administering medications as ordered.

Position offers 10:45 PM–7:15 AM hours, 80 biweekly hours, every-other-weekend schedule, plus a 4-week orientation and weekly pay. Overtime available after orientation at 1.5x base rate.

Qualifications

• Active PA LPN license required.
• Full-time 3rd shift (10:45 PM–7:15 AM) required.
• Every other weekend required.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RN with daily assessment of resident health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Order and receive medications according to procedure.
• Verify pharmacy medications for accuracy and maintain records.
• Observe residents for changes in condition and report findings to the nursing team.
• Document daily resident care and clinical information.
• Collaborate with the RN in developing and adjusting resident plans of care.
• Make rounds and support resident safety and well-being.
• Assist with resident feeding and personal care as needed.

ROLE

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability To Work Every Other Weekend REQUIRED
• Ability To Perform Essential Job Functions REQUIRED
