Job summary

NurSelect, LLC is seeking a dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an evening shift contract position in Elizabethtown, PA. No weekends!

The LPN will provide high-quality nursing care in partner facilities with duties including medication administration, vital signs, wound care, immunizations, and patient education. Flexible schedules, weekly pay, and bonus incentives are offered.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania LPN license required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year Skilled-Nursing/Long-Term Care experience.
• Punctual, reliable, and caring attitude.

Responsibilities

• Record patient history and current conditions.
• Administer medications as prescribed by the physician.
• Take vital signs (BP, temp, weight).
• Provide basic wound care and dressing changes.
• Administer injections and assist with immunizations.
• Enter information into computer systems accurately.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
• Provide emotional support and assist with daily living activities.

We're currently taking applications for a contract LPN position - Evening shift Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) in Elizabethtown, PA.

NurSelect is looking for LPNs to provide residents and patients with a high quality of nursing care for NurSelect partner facilities. The LPNs duties may will include:

• Recording the patient's history
• Giving medication as prescribed by the physician
• Taking vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and weight
• Basic wound care including cleaning and bandaging injured areas
• Giving injections of medications
• Providing immunizations
• Entering information into computer systems
• Ensuring patients and families understand release instructions
• Providing oversight to Nursing Assistive Personnel (NAP)
• Monitoring fluid/food intake and output
• Moving patients safely
• Observing patient reactions to medications
• Observing patient mental health status
• Providing emotional support
• Assisting with daily needs such as bathing and dressing
• Observing of patients for skin breakdown

Requirements

• Must possess an active Pennsylvania LPN license
• Must possess current BLS/CPR certification
• Minimum 1-year Skilled-Nursing/Long-Term Care or related experience
• Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
