Job summary

Empire Care Centers is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 3pm-11pm full-time shift to deliver high-quality care to our residents. You will monitor health, administer medications, and support a compassionate care environment.

In collaboration with physicians and nurses, you will develop care plans, perform routine procedures, and supervise CNAs to ensure safety and comfort for residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Active GA nursing license required.
• Minimum1 year of LPN experience preferred.
• Ability to work evening shift and handle emergencies with composure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' condition and assess needs to provide the best possible care.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans.
• Perform routine procedures and fill in patients' charts.
• Adjust and administer medications per physician orders.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients' condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice


• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients


• Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections, etc.) and fill in patients' charts


• Adjust and administer patients' medication and provide treatments according to physicians' orders


• Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds, etc.)


• Provide instant medical care in emergencies


• Supervise and train (CNAs) nursing assistants


• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
