Empire Care Centers is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 3pm-11pm full-time shift in Powder Springs, GA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care, monitor patients, and support families in a compassionate environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with physicians and nurses, administering medications as ordered, and supervising CNAs to ensure safety and excellent care in our facility.

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse license valid in Georgia.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Experience with patient assessments and charting.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients' condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice


• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients


• Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections, etc.) and fill in patients' charts


• Adjust and administer patients' medication and provide treatments according to physicians' orders


• Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds, etc.)


• Provide instant medical care in emergencies


• Supervise and train (CNAs) nursing assistants


• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
