Job summary

Sunset Health Care Center in Missouri seeks a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our small team in a night shift role (6:00 pm–6:00 am) with shift differential. You will provide attentive nursing care, administer medications, and help develop individualized care plans to meet residents' needs.

We offer a $15,000 sign-on bonus for full-time, night differential pay, holidays with premium pay, tuition reimbursement up to $5,000 per year, and a 401(k) with company matching.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Valid LPN license in Missouri.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.
• Ability to react decisively in emergencies.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of nursing.
• Provide services that meet standards above company and regulatory requirements.
• Initiate and lead individualized nursing care plans.
• Assess and document residents' condition and nursing needs.
• Implement physicians' orders accurately and promptly.
• Assign nursing care to team members per residents' needs and capabilities.

• Start IVs and perform treatments as needed.
• Document treatments as required.
• Ensure supplies are used economically and equipment is safe.

Essential Functions of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspects of nursing
• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans
• Assesses and documents the resident's condition and nursing needs
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians' orders
• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident's needs and the person's capabilities and qualifications

Qualifications of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
