Job summary

Shores of Worthington is seeking Licensed Practical Nurse candidates to join our team as part of a residential health care facility. The role includes direct patient care, supervising CNAs, medication administration, wound and treatment care, and contributing to care plan reviews.

Shift -Day (6A-2:30P) Part time, Evening (2P-10:30P) Full time and Part time

The Licensed Practical Nurse responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Providing direct patient care in accordance with state, federal and facility guidelines
• Supervising CNAs
• Medication administration Wound and treatment care
• Provide general nursing care to patients in accordance to the facility nursing policy and procedure
• Addressing problems identified in the patient care plan for RN Nurse review

Qualifications & Skills of Licensed Practical Nurse

• Current license by the Minnesota Board of Nursing to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
• Ability to interact with a variety of people and foster a team philosophy
• Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and professional/regulatory agents
