Job summary

Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation Center is seeking full-time and part-time LPNs to join our team in Minnesota. We offer a $4,000 sign-on bonus and a starting wage of $26.70-$28.84 per hour, based on experience.

We are committed to training new LPNs and helping you build your career in a supportive environment. Responsibilities include direct patient care, medications administration, vital signs, wound care, and collaboration with RNs and physicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of a state-approved practical nursing program.
• Current nursing license by the Minnesota Board of Nursing to practice as an Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
• Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and professional/regulatory agents.
• CPR certified.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care and assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
• Performing basic nursing assessments to collect patient data and monitor their condition.
• Administering medications, including oral, topical, intramuscular, and subcutaneous medications, as prescribed by a healthcare provider.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs and providing wound care.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Working as part of a healthcare team and collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as RNs, physicians, and other support staff.
• Providing basic health education and instructions to patients and their families.
• Performing basic medical procedures, such as administering injections, starting intravenous (IV) lines, collecting laboratory specimens, and conducting simple laboratory tests (depending on state regulations).
• Providing emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
• Supervising CNAs

Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation Center is looking for full-time and part-time AM and PM LPNs to join our team!
