Job summary

WesleyLife's Park Centre in Newton, IA is seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver direct nursing care in a caring, resident-centered environment. You will perform wound care, IV therapy, catheter management, and comprehensive assessments to tailor individualized care plans.

You will document accurately, administer medications, and conduct admission assessments into the Health Center via PCC, collaborating with physicians and families to optimize resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Iowa RN or LPN license is required.
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care including wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and ensure accurate documentation and monitoring for side effects.
• Enter admissions into the Health Center and PCC (RNs only).
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate resident care with physicians and families.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols.

Job Duties: Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse

• Provide direct nursing care, such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.Comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions, including vital signs, anddevelopingindividualized care plans.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuringaccuratedocumentation and monitoringforside effects.
• Conduct admission assessments into the Health Center and enter into Point Click Care (PCC) *RNs only.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate andoptimizeresident care, including communicating with physicians and families.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols tomaintaina safe environment for residents.

Qualifications:

• State of Iowa RN or LPN license
• PreviousLTC experience is preferred but notrequired

Day Shift 6:00a-6:30p (F,S,S)
