Job summary

WesleyLife is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Des Moines team. This on-site opportunity offers direct patient care including wound care, IV therapy, and medication administration, with a focus on personalized care plans for aging adults.

You will collaborate with the healthcare team, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to a safe, supportive environment at WesleyLife’s Des Moines location.

Qualifications

• Iowa RN or LPN license required.
• Nursing license must be current and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care including wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.
• Perform comprehensive resident health assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments with accurate documentation and monitoring for side effects.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and communicate with physicians and families to optimize resident care.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols.
