Job summary

The Lakes Home Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes in Florida. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for pediatric and adult clients, following prescribed orders.

Candidates must hold an active LPN/LVN license in the state, have current TB/Chest X-ray clearance and a current BLS card; one year of nursing experience is preferred. We offer flexible hours and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN license in the state where practice is required.
• Current TB test or Chest X-ray clearance.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders

• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.

• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.

• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.

• Current BLS card.

• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
