Job summary

Cortlandt Healthcare in Cortlandt Manor, NY is seeking licensed practical nurses to join our clinical team in full-time or part-time roles. Pay is up to $40 per hour with a $3,000 sign-on bonus and a supportive, collaborative work environment.

You will provide high-quality nursing care, administer medications, monitor residents, document care accurately, and work closely with CNAs, RNs, physicians and the interdisciplinary team to promote safety, dignity and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current New York State LPN license.
• Previous nursing experience preferred; skilled nursing experience is a plus.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Compassionate and resident-focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes to the RN and medical team.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Work closely with CNAs, RNs, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with assessments, care planning, and resident needs.
• Promote resident safety, dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
• Communicate effectively with residents and their families.
