Job summary

Cortlandt Healthcare is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses to join our clinical team at Cortlandt Manor, NY. We offer competitive pay up to $40 per hour and a $3,000 sign-on bonus, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available.

You will provide high-quality nursing care, administer medications, monitor residents, and collaborate with CNAs, RNs, physicians and the rest of the interdisciplinary team to support safety, dignity and quality of life for our residents.

Qualifications

• Current New York State LPN license.
• Experience in skilled nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Compassionate and resident-focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes to the RN and medical team.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Work closely with CNAs, RNs, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with assessments, care planning, and resident needs.
• Promote resident safety, dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
• Communicate effectively with residents and their families.
