Job summary

Boost Home Healthcare in Tampa seeks a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN) to provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes under physician orders and RN supervision. You will implement care plans, administer treatments, and document care while supporting patient independence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of practical (vocational) nursing.
• Licensed practical (vocational) nurse in the state of the job posting.
• Minimum of one (1) year as an LVN in the Home Health Care Setting.
• Must have current BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Implement the nursing care plan for each patient.
• Provide nursing services, treatments and diagnostic and preventative procedures as assigned.
• Initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures as appropriate.
• Observe signs and symptoms and report to the physician and RN reactions to treatments, including drugs and changes in the patient's physical or emotional condition.
• Teach and counsel the patient and family/significant others regarding the nursing care needs and other related problems of the patient at home.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of observations, treatments, and care of patients.
