Job summary

Boost Home Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN) to provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes across Florida. You will implement care plans, administer treatments, and support patient recovery while coordinating with RNs and physicians.

Applicants should have an LVN license in Florida, BLS certification, and at least one year of home health experience. Competitive benefits and flexible scheduling are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of practical (vocational) nursing.
• Licensed practical (vocational) nurse in the state of job posting.
• Minimum of one (1) year as an LVN in the Home Health Care Setting.
• Must have current BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Implement the nursing care plan for each patient.
• Provide nursing services, treatments and diagnostic and preventative procedures as assigned.
• Initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures as appropriate.
• Observe signs and symptoms and report to the physician and RN reactions to treatments, including drugs and changes in the patient's physical or emotional condition.
• Teach and counsel the patient and family/significant others regarding the nursing care needs and other related problems of the patient at home.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of observations, treatments, and care of patients.
