Job summary

Cascades of Sugarland Ridge is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide medication management and skilled nursing in compliance with state regulations. You will implement residents’ care plans, monitor staff, and educate residents and families while promoting Cascade Living’s mission.

The role is full time with a swing shift and weekend requirements. An active LPN license is required, and a compassionate, professional demeanor is essential to our community.

Job description

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with Cascades of Sugarland Ridge, you will provide medication management and skilled nursing procedures for residents in compliance with state regulations.

• Maintains a current state license as a professional Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Ownership attitude who is able to stay focused despite interruptions throughout the day

• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills

• Ability to work flexible hours to include evenings and weekends

What you can expect to do as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Make a significant contribution to the quality of life our residents by maintaining the highest possible quality and consistency

• Implement residents’ personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences and preferred routines

• Assisting in training and monitoring of medication care administration

• Demonstrate organizational skills around time management

• Monitor the performance of caregivers to assure quality care

• Educate residents and staff about health maintenance and disease prevention

• Promote the mission, values and beliefs of Cascade Living

Required Certifications:

• Active and unencumbered Practical Nursing License

$26.00 - $28.00/hour
*Depending on Experience
