Job summary

Complete Care, Inc. in Maryland is hiring an LPN Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct care for residents recently discharged from the hospital or in long-term care.

You will administer medications, monitor health status, and collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers and others to plan and deliver individualized care. We offer impressive wages with shift differentials, weekend bonuses, a $1,000 referral bonus for full-time staff and $500 for part-time, plus daily pay options

Qualifications

• Maryland LPN license required.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, professional references check & physical evaluation.
• Professional & clinically skilled with leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Administer Medications: Give oral, topical, IV, injectable medications
• Wound/Skin Care: Perform wound care/prevention, manage pain, apply dressings
• Monitoring: Observe physical and mental health status- track changes & analyze data
• Clinical Procedure: Provide catheter/ostomy care, gather specimens etc.
• Care Planning: Assist in executing the individualized care
• Collaboration: Strategize care with physicians, therapists, social workers & others
• Family & Resident Education: Explain health status, changes and expectations for care
• Documentation: Keep a detailed record of health status, all care, progress & interactions
• Team Oversight: Oversee & delegate CNA’s ensuring quality care/teamwork
