Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to support clinical services, including resident medication management, service planning, and supervising the nursing staff. You will help ensure residents receive excellent direct care and participate in assessments and care planning with the nursing team.

Requirements include current LPN license and CPR certification; prior memory care supervision is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current LPN nursing license and CPR certification as required by the state (per job posting).
• Prefer 1 year of prior relevant experience.
• Prefer supervisory experience, preferably in memory care.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and training the nursing staff to ensure quality of care.
• Verifying proper distribution and documentation of medication, treatments and orders.
• Participating in regular resident assessments and service planning, and coordinating with ancillary health care services as needed.
• Assisting with move-in and move-out processes including tours, orientation, evaluations, and family communications.
• Providing direct care during health emergencies or on-call rotations.
• Relaying resident concerns or changes to the appropriate department manager.

We are looking for an outstanding individual to join the nursing team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). You will support clinical services such as resident medication management, service planning and supervising the nursing staff.
