Job summary

Legend Senior Living in Colorado is seeking an outstanding Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support clinical services such as resident medication management, service planning and supervising the nursing staff to ensure high-quality direct care.

You will make a difference in residents' lives by delivering care, participating in assessments, move-in/move-out processes, tours and family communications, and coordinating with ancillary health services as needed.

Qualifications

• Current LPN nursing license and CPR certification as required by the state.
• At least 1 year of prior relevant experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred, preferably in senior living.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train nursing staff to ensure quality of care.
• Verify proper distribution and documentation of medications, treatments and orders.
• Participate in regular resident assessments and service planning, and follow up with ancillary health care services as needed.
• Assist with the move-in and move-out process including tours, orientation, evaluations, and family communications.
• Provide direct care when needed, such as during health emergencies or during on-call rotation.
• Relay resident concerns or changes to the appropriate department manager.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.

• Perfect attendance bonus—$75 for full-time (up to a $1,950 annual benefit) and $35 for part-time (up to a $910 annual benefit)

Requirements
