Job summary

Legend Senior Living seeks a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to support the nursing team with resident medication management, service planning and supervising staff, ensuring residents receive excellent direct care.

We operate 6am-2pm with every other weekend and offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), paid time off, holiday pay, and scholarship/education opportunities.

Qualifications

• current LPN nursing license and CPR certification as required by the state
• 1 year of prior relevant experience preferred
• supervisory experience, preferably in senior living

Responsibilities

• Supervising and training the nursing staff to ensure quality of care
• Verifying the proper distribution and required documentation of medication, treatments and orders
• Participating in regular resident assessments and service planning, and following up with ancillary health care services as needed
• Assisting with the move-in and move-out process including tours, orientation, evaluations, and family communications
• Providing direct care when needed, such as during health emergencies or during on-call rotation
• Relaying resident concerns or changes to the appropriate department manager

Requirements Licensed Practical Nurse

• Required: current LPN nursing license and CPR certification as required by the state
• Prefer: 1 year of prior relevant experience
• Prefer: supervisory experience, preferably in senior living
