Job summary

South Shore Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in Rockland, MA is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for full-time positions. You will provide direct nursing care under RN supervision, supervise aides, and maintain care plans for residents.

The role includes administering medications, documenting progress, and participating in emergencies. Evenings, weekends, and varied shifts offer differential pay; strong leadership and English proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Current, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in this state.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to make independent decisions and interact tactfully.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
• Leadership and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Full-time Opportunities

Join our dynamic care team at South Shore Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in Rockland! We are seeking experienced and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide high-quality care to our residents. As a valued member of our care team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our dedicated staff and make a positive impact on the lives of our patients.

Openings

• 32 hours on 7a-3p, includes every other weekend
• 32 hours on 3p-11p, includes every other weekend

Pay

• Competitive and weekly pay ranging from $40 to $45 an hour, depending on the shift
• Evenings, overnights, and weekends have shift differentials

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of the RN
• Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the nursing assistant
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
• Document resident progress and report any unusual or significant findings
• Participate in emergency procedures as necessary
• Demonstrate leadership skills and contribute to positive resident and family relations

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program
• Current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state
