Job summary
South Shore Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in Rockland, MA is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for full-time positions. You will provide direct nursing care under RN supervision, supervise aides, and maintain care plans for residents.
The role includes administering medications, documenting progress, and participating in emergencies. Evenings, weekends, and varied shifts offer differential pay; strong leadership and English proficiency are expected.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
- Current, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in this state.
- CPR certification.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Ability to make independent decisions and interact tactfully.
- Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
- Leadership and supervisory skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents under RN supervision.
- Supervise day-to-day nursing activities by the nursing assistant.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physician.
- Document resident progress and report unusual findings.
- Participate in emergency procedures as necessary.
- Demonstrate leadership and foster positive resident and family relations.
